With nearly two decades of Linux experience, I have developed a strong command over various Linux distributions, including but not limited to Ubuntu, Fedora, RedHat, SLED, OpenSUSE, Open Solaris, Debian, OpenBSD, FreeBSD, and even SCO UNIX! I love Linux for both personal and professional use. I am skilled in administering Linux servers within complex environments, as demonstrated by my work managing infrastructure for data centers, healthcare facilities, and defense projects. My expertise extends to utilizing bash scripting for automation and efficiency, and I am continuously advancing my Python scripting abilities.

In my role as a System Administrator, I have optimized hybrid Windows/Linux environments, deployed Docker for scalable applications, and maintained VMware and Proxmox platforms to enhance server reliability and performance. I am a committed advocate of Free, Libre, Open Source Software (FLOSS) and strive to integrate open-source solutions wherever possible to maximize efficiency and minimize costs. My passion for open-source drives me to build cost-effective, adaptable IT solutions that I am fully capable of supporting and maintaining for long-term success.
