A: No. I have had many vendor certifications in the past that employers look for and I found that the cost and time spent to get them and renew them did not outweigh the benefit to myself and to my employer, only to my resume. I prefer to focus on training that is specific to the industry I'm working in and the technology that is used in that industry, so I typically get certifications after employment, instead of before, so that I am as effective as possible at my job.
